However, a recent and unexpected scientific finding has brought to light a crucial warning: <strong>the effects of this supplement on your brain depend entirely on the current state of your cognitive health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The upside: an ally for the healthy brain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For years, large-scale epidemiological studies (including analyses of nearly half a million people in the UK Biobank) suggested that regular glucosamine users had a lower risk of developing dementia or cardiovascular disease. The body of scientific evidence continues to suggest that the supplement is safe and may even have protective effects.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>If you or a family member have memory loss or dementia:<\/strong> It is extremely important to open a conversation with your doctor before your next dose.
